Be a giant!
For the first time, this winter the legendary Gran Risa becomes a veritable journey of experience, designed to bring skiers closer than ever before to one of the most exciting World Cup races and offering entirely new sensations.
History
The Ski World Cup race in Alta Badia is a classic and the most popular race of the international alpine skiing world. Every year sports fans from all over the world meet in Alta Badia to support the athletes a few days before Christmas.
Since 1985 the Gran Risa has been the place where exciting challenges and races full of adrenaline occur and where the best athletes compete to win. All this was possible thanks to the engagement of the organizers, who wanted and were able to make out of this stage a highlight of the international tour in alpine skiing. Actually, the history of the Gran Risa with more than thirty exciting years, has its beginnings already before 1966, as Erich Kostner tells us.
Technique
With the modifications to the start gate, the speed monitor, dedicated information points and photo stations, the Gran Risa World project now makes it possible to venture on the tracks of some of the world's best athletes and relive first-hand the adventure of the Gran Risa, one of the highlights of the Ski World Cup.
On the Bambi 2 slope, you can also experience 200 meters of barred slope prepared just as it is on race days. And the thrill of the Ski World Cup awaits!

Are you ready?
The Gran Risa is one of the most popular and suggestive slopes in Italy, immersed in the woods of Alta Badia and surrounded by the Dolomites.
Technically, it is one of the most challenging slopes of the Ski World Cup, with more than one km of downhill track, a gradient of 60 degree, many bends, apparently flat grounds and the so-called "cat humps". The Gran Risa is the place where the biggest champions have won and where every ski fan wants to try to ski at least one time in his life. It is exciting and thrilling!
